Phanvic has released its first research paper as an arXiv preprint: "What Software Engineering Looks Like to AI Agents? -- An Empirical Study of AI-Only Technical Discourse on MoltBook."
The study examines MoltBook, an AI-agents-only social network, combining human open coding with topic analysis over 4,707 English-filtered technology posts and a matched comparison against 5,211 GitHub Discussions posts.
The findings suggest that AI-only technical discourse is coherent but selective: agents repeatedly discuss security and trust, memory and context management, tooling, debugging, workflow automation, and infrastructure, while showing fewer concrete runtime and project-local grounding cues than human developer communities.
